Length of time passed!

I pulled up the blog today only to notice I hadn't put any pictures of the kids on here since May and it's hard to believe it's almost July! Payten has been becoming more and more adament on things she wants and things she does, she will spit out anything you tell her right back at you.  She has started telling you things are boring, she uses the word incorrectly and she really means it's something she doesn't want... she will say clothes are boring when they are super colorful.  She also  says "duh" just like mommy apparently.  As she began saying it I told her that it wasn't respectful and then I noticed I say it as well, we are both working on being respectful in our speaking.  She is preparing for her 4th birthday coming up in a couple weeks, she realized that this means she is starting school and she is very excited. Landon has grown so much, he is officially eating solids 2 times a day. I make his food homemade and he loves everything from vegetable to fruit! He can roll from side to side and roll over as well if he really puts his little mind to it. He is very vocal and likes to babble to his sister and anyone who will listen.  He is intrigued by his big sister and her singing and dancing. Landon likes to be held and is not very independent, he is close to sitting and loves to stand with assistance. Recently we were struck with a tradgedy of losing our favorite Grandpa Lang! We made a premature trip to Buffalo to pay our respects and attended Uncle Jamison's wedding as well.  Therefore the kids got to meet their cousins and spend time with them. Payten loved every minute of meeting the cousins and calls Ryan and Wyatt "my boys",  she thinks Carrington is her personal servant and has made a new friend of our newest addition 4 year old Iszadora (Dora as Payten calls her) We have been busy and feels like summer is almost over. Payten begins school August 1st so we are preparing for that as we speak!

Happy 4 Months Buddy

Gotta love this little boy. He is such a little peanut when you are used to a chunker! Landon is more 1lb less than his sister was at this age. He is still not sleeping through the night, he gets up around 2am for a bottle then around 5-6 for another. He eats his fruit in the morning only to go back to sleep for 3-4 hours in his swimg of course. After that his naps are are spuratic and irregular including his feedings are 4-5oz and he is still struggling with reflux. He eats homemade food made by his sister and I. He loves it! It's totally GREAT to see that he is on his way to healthy eating. He rolls back and forth and smiles at his doggy, sister and mommy and daddy of course but more the dog and Payten. He love to be carried around and has no real span for chilling independantly unless you are talking to him the whole time.

The Little Bit of Easter

Strange enough someone who loves Easter so much and has a strong family value for Easter I had a hard time doing Easter for both kids this year. The DeMeester grandparents gave Payten and Landon their Easter suprises while they were here. The Matuszewski grandparents sent a basket and of course the minute a box came to the door she opened that up too... I had bought Payten some things to fill her basket unfortunately I just didn't get there, Landon being sick and workin with 2 kids just seems overwelming sometimes. So there are no pictures of dying eggs, basket hunts, or breakfast! But we did spend dinner with our family the Gerevics/Gardners.... and did an Easter Egg hunt.
