One step... more to come!

The trip to Buffalo

We had a long trip to Buffalo, 3 whole weeks. We spent the first week at Grandma and Grandpa Matuszewski's relaxing and just taking in some cooler weather. The next week we spent at the lake for Great Grandpa's birthday and the last week we spend at Grandma and Grandpa DeMeester's.

too much fun to nap!

Payten had a few hairy days where napping was tough...

Payten's 1 year appointment

Payten had her 1 year appointment on July 8th. She was 23lbs. 7oz., 30 inches tall. She is in the 50th percentile for her weight, 75th percentile for her height and the 90th percentile for her head. Scott too had a big head as a child so it's no suprise that she too is taking after her father in that retrospect also. She finally has a clear bill of health after the long year we can only hope it continues. We headed to Buffalo to celebrate her birthday on July 10th where we had her party at Ellicott Creek park and there were MANY family and friends there... almost too many that she had a hard time warming up and melted down. July 18-22 we spent in beautiful Chautauqua Lake with many family members for Grandpa Lang's 75th birthday party. We ended the week meetin up with more family the Matuszewski's and the DeMeester's too. We will be back home July 27th after Scott's 10 year high school reunion. Finally back to work for mom and dad is back to full time daddy duty!

Payten's first birthday party... cake..mmmm

Wesson did it..

Do you believe Wesson did this after seeing the bathroom pictures??? Wesson DID NOT... but Payten is sure you will believe she did!

New Shoes

My new pretty sandals from Striderite... Payten is a 4 extra wide! But look how cute with socks. Grandma Bach bought me my first pair of real shoes and Grandma Matuszewski bought Payten her first pair so looks like I will be buying Payten's child their first pair of shoes too.
These are Buster Brown shoes, she loves them and she looks so darn cute in them!

Bubbles

Bubbles, bubbles everywhere... Payten loves her bubbles.
