Sleeping Beauties!

Landon's 3 week well child visit

Landon went for his 3 week well child visit today... the md said he is doing GREAT! He has gained weight from 5lbs 3oz to 7lbs 6 oz. WOW... but he has also grown from 18inches long to 21 inches long! GO Landon! The md did change his formula to something that is heavier to ensure it stays in his stomach and not out through vomitting or burping or gas! He was also placed on medication for the reflux. We are hoping to catch it early and it will be treated so no harm done, where as Payten we didn't medicate until she was 6 months old and she had already had damage done and now she continues to be on medication for reflux. Landon is still wearing his preemie clothes but is growing too long. He needs to grow some in his mid section to get out of newborn diapers and fill out newborn clothes the way they are supposed to fit. He is awake more now and more alert to things around him. He loves his big sister...she is loud and entertaining! The dog is loving having a baby in the house again... she is so excited if formula is left out, she just loves baby formula! We are hoping that Landon does not develop the same issues as Payten... right now they are on the same growth chart although Payten's face had filled out and Landon hasn't quite yet. They will not be denying their related anytime soon.

Christmas with the DeMeester Grandparents

Grandma and Grandpa DeMeester came to meet Landon and we had yet another Christmas! I got a big girl bike, but it wouldn't peddle, I hated it! But we took it back and got a new on the next day.

Snow Day January 10,2010 and January 11,2011

We got up at 6am to find 6 inches of snow... unfortunately it was covered with a sheet of ice. Schools were canceled for 2 days so far. Traveling is not a good idea until it melts which we aren't seeing on the weather forcast till Thursday.

Payten loves it though!! Thank goodness I picked up a pair of boots for Buffalo, imagine that we are using them in Georgia!

This is a northerner without a snow brush in the south... we use our push broom instead. Scott is on call so his car needs to be cleared off and ready to go! Good luck getting down our hill... can you say sleigh ride with heat!?

Our neighbors made a snowman, no she is not going swimming, we tried sledding with the tube.
