The adventures of Payten and Haylee for a day!

Payten Survived Daycare...

Payten had her trial at daycare today, she was so excited to go to "school", we went to breakfast and had a bagel and milk then dropped her off at school at 8am. She thought that it was very loud... they were just finishing up breakfast... she reluctantly went with her teacher and made it till 2pm. She didn't eat lunch which isn't a huge suprise to me but concerned her teacher... I told her it was hit and miss with Payten and food. She will eat if she is hungry no worries. She napped a little bit but not as much as usual... :) A good start we hope.

Payten's 3 year old check up!

Payten just turned 3 years old. She is doing well, the height of a 4 year old.. 39lbs, 40 inches tall and healthy as an asthmatic can be. We updated all of her specialists referrals and are awaiting our 2nd round of allergy testing. We will be following up with the ENT in August with her ear tubes. She will then see the pulminologist to be sure that she is under control with her breathing. Payten was put back on her prevacid and a higher dose actually, she still has reflux and the md says she may not grown out of it.

Payten repeats everything she hears... that's right, I fell down 2 stairs with Payten in my hands and screamed "oh sh*t" Payten fell down outside yesterday and yelled"oh sh*t"... She loves to sing in the car and dance to music, her favorite songs right now are the Black Eyed Peas-Good Night and Usher's Oh My God.... she loves to dance and sing to them!

Payten begins daycare in the next fews weeks 2 days a week where she will get PT and OT for her small issues... she is doing great overall. I can't wait to see what kind of big sister she will make! We are extrememly proud of her and her accomplishments!
