Payten's First Day of Pre K

Today was Payten's first day of school. She woke up at 5:30am, dressed herself in her favorite flamingo ("mingo") dress with matching flamingo underware and came bolting into my bedroom saying she was ready for school. Granted school does not begin till 8:30am. I made her lay in bed till 6am. We got up and started the day with breakfast, breathing treatment and getting our hair done. We awoke daddy and off we went with our brand new shoes from Grandma, brand new backpack from Grandma Matuszewski and a smile on her face. She hugged Landon goodbye in the car and couldn't stop talking about what fun she was going to have. When we arrived she ran right to her room, found the box with her name on it and put her things in it for the day along with hanging her backpack. She quickly went right to it. I dropped her medication off at the office and she didn't even need it. I had to wake Landon from his nap at 3pm in order to pick his sister up from school. We arrived and she was still so excited said goodbye to everyone and told them she would see them tomorrow. I took her for ice cream across the street and she insisted that she need chicken too. I asked her if she had eaten at school, she replied that the lunch at school is yunky and is in need of something to eat now. I am not suprised she didn't eat lunch, she doesn't like food like that. So I am guessing we will be having an early dinner after school daily. As our evening went on she told me that she played games, went down 2 slides and there is a dark haired boy, like Wesson's that drove her crazy! She went to bed at 7pm and is excited about tomorrow!
